Jaipur is India’s not only one of the best planed cities but a heritage city also, officially declared by the UNESCO.
Our Heritage Walk tour is designed and conducted in a way that you get the true image and feel of Jaipur’s heritage and charm.
During this tour we explore the old town of Jaipur founded about 300 years ago by king Jaising the 2nd.
The high boundary wall surrounding the old city gives access through 7 gates at various points and directions. This wonderful town is often and affectionately called the Pink City which is for an interesting reason.
While touring we walk through the main streets and observe an amazing grid system of the town that consists of 9 blocks in total.
All the streets we walk through have old mentions ( known as haveli ) and temples of architectural beauty lined up on the both sides. In the list of major monuments we visit are Hawa Mahal ( wind palace ) and a 300 years old open air observatory of astronomy known as Jantar Mantar.
We also walk by or make desired stops at the locally famous eateries , make photo stops.
We explore the city and visit the world famous monuments named Hawa Mahal ( wind Palace ), Jantar Mantar ( 18th century’s open air observatory of astronomy, now world heritage site of UNESCO ), Govind Dev Temple is where you see the local crowd and priest singing prayer.
We explore a vibrant and wholesale local market market of colourful and fragrant flowers and fresh vegetables.
